I am a Community Art Worker, with a research background in creative learning and community art. Published works include: 'A Shared Language: Creative Learning and Slavery'(2009), 'The Liberty Box'(2008), 'Birmingham Lives through Children's Eyes' (2002), 'Rembrandt's Late Self-Portraits; Images of Aging' (2000), and 'Looking in form the Outside: Community Art and Art Education' (1999).

I am a freelance Art Practitioner, who was previously Education Officer for sampad and Programme Manager for Creative Partnerships Birmingham. I have also worked many arts organisations including Bright Space, Arts Council, Birmingham City Council, Fierce, Argi Bhagi Arts, sampad and many Birmingham schools. I am also Chair of Governors at Dame Ellen Pinsent Special School.
I am a Curator specialising in fine art and history, who manages and commissions projects for local authorities, residential and commercial developments, museums, universities, hospitals, schools and festivals. I am also a Trustee for the Orchard Vale Trust, a charity providing home and life-long care for people with learning disabilities.
I am an Illustrator who works with design and advertising agencies all over the world. I was previously an Art Director in the advertising world, and have now brought my practice into education, alongside working on public art commissions.

I am a Drama Practitioner for The Play House, a theatre-in-education organisation based in Birmingham. I devise and deliver participatory theatre and drama work with children and teachers in numerous different settings, alongside working with Creative Partnerships projects.
I have been working as a Filmmaker and Consultant in the education and commercial sectors for over 10 years. During this time I have produced over 200 programmes for schools, broadcast and the public and private sector.
