Practitioner Development
Our Practitioner Development work, aims to ensure creative practitioners we work with continue to develop within their chosen art forms.
As well as working with established practitioners we are also keen to nurture up and coming practitioners.
Our work with emerging artists
We have recently worked with Kashmir Leese, an emerging choreographer from Birmingham. Through Bright Space, he was given the opportunity to work with Birmingham Opera Company on their last production, Othello.
We are also due to start working with Matt Windle, an emerging slam poet and former Birmingham Young Poet Laureate.
Working with the creative workforce in Herefordshire
We are also currently investing in diversifying the creative workforce in Herefordshire. Working alongside Herefordshire Council, we aim to recruit and train practitioners to work with our successful Creative Partnerships schools in their local area.
